Welcome to Dr. R.K.B. Law College, Dibrugarh

Dr Rohini Kanta Baruah Law College Central Library has been established in the year 1977 i.e. just one year after the establishment of the college in the year 1976, within the college campus which is situated in the heart of the Dibrugarh town, permanently affiliated to Dibrugarh University and approved by Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The Central Library is the hub of Knowledge Resources which has a good number of Text Books, Reference books, Bare Acts, Journals, Magazines, Periodicals, newspapers and also has some rare collection of Books, Gazetteer, and Reports etc. At present, the library has a separate building on the ground floor near the Academic Block. Dr Rohini Kanta Baruah Law College Central Library is continuously developing the existing facilities and services for students one after another as per the requirement of Legal Education Rules of Bar Council of India. The library is partially automated and is using KOHA Integrated Library Management Software for easy access and smooth functioning of the library. The internet section of the library has computers with a high-speed broadband connection for all the users to access E-Resources available in the library. The library being the heart of an educational institution needs to be secure and with this motive, 24x7 CCTV surveillance has been installed. For the overall development of the library and to fulfill the needs of the students relating to library services and facilities the Library Development Committee has been constituted.
